A number of faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor are available in various Schools/Centres of the University. Candidates with good academic record, teaching and research experience and working in related areas, are encouraged to apply. 56. Associate Professor | CENTRE FOR STUDIES IN SCIENCE POLICY (CSSP) | Unreserved
An eminent scholar with Master's degree in any social science/ science/ Engineering/Medicine and PhD in Science Policy Studies/Related areas. 
S/He should have strong publication in the areas of science policy studies/related areas.  A minimum of five publications as books and/or research papers in reputed international journals in science policies studies/related areas would be required.Candidates should have experience of supervising PhD thesis in areas of science policy studies/related areas.Candidate should be specialized in at least ONE area/field of science policy studies. These areas/fields are: 1. Philosophy of science/technology. 2. Technology and sustainability. 3. Public understanding of science. Candidate should have made substantial contribution to design and innovation in teaching of courses on above fields/areas.
Desirable: Out of 8 years experience, a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required at national/ international institution/ universities.

57. Assistant Professor | CENTRE FOR STUDIES IN SCIENCE POLICY (CSSP) | Unreserved
Master's degree or equivalent degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Law or Medicine or Engineering/Technology.
Desirable: PhD in Science Policy Studies or in related areas focusing on technological changes or historical and philosophical studies of science and technology, or economics of technology and innovation, or social and political implications of science and technology or scientometrics or sustainability Studies in technology and innovation or policy studies in emerging technologies. Specialisation in more than one field would be preferred.
